Robin and Nicole Caudell

An inter-generational and multi-media exhibition of four generations of former Caroline County residents. The focal point of the show will feature the modern quilts of Mrs. Lula Annie Butler made from scraps to supplement her income, utilizing her “make do” attitude to create new one of a kind pieces. These quilts were purchased by family, friends, and her fellow congregants at Mt. Calvary Methodist Church in Preston, MD.

Subsequent generations of her family then followed in their own creative paths to create art. Including the canvas needle work of Edna Viola Butler; photography, poetry, and mixed media painting of Robin Caudell; and ceramics, jewelry, and mixed media paintings of Nicole Caudell. Each subsequent generation adding to the family treasures.
