FACES reached out to our Directory Member, Jackie Mathiason of Alpaca Road to see what she and other artists have been working on during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Thank you, Jackie!
During the pandemic I have been spending a lot of time in my weaving studio making rugs, shawls, and scarves. The fun part is the preparations that go into weaving each project. It starts in the spring when we shear our alpacas and use their fiber to process into yarn and then hand dye it. The pictures illustrate some of what I make here on the farm.
