About the Class

The course consist of one 3 hour session. For basic knitters, using rib stitch and cabling, students will learn to knit a pair of fingerless gloves/wrist warmers. Includes yarn.

Class Fee: $25

Ages: 14 and up

Supplies to bring with you:

Knitting needles size 7 or 8
Scissors
Yarn needle

Optional: Yarn – size 4 worsted weight

 

About Alida

Alida Greenhalgh was raised in Kent County and has lived on the Eastern shore her entire life. She has obtained degrees from Salisbury University in Fiber Arts and Sociology. Her love of the fiber arts extends to knitting, sewing, dying, felting, and embroidery. When it comes to her knitting she considers herself a practical knitter with a side of whimsy. Alida loves to share her knitting expertise with other and has been teaching the art for several years to anyone who was willing to learn.
