Dear Members,
What wonderful news I have to share! The Fiber Arts Center are the proud owners of the Hardee House. We secured a loan from the town of Denton and bought the building from the Caroline Council of the Arts. This process has taken almost a year but it has finally happened. We should have access to the second floor by the end of the year and are planning new creative endeavors for that new space.

The African American Heritage Preservation Program has also accepted our grant proposal for the Richard Potter House next door and we are so excited for those first steps to preserving that structure as a museum for Richard Potter and making a really good space for fiber artists to work, collaborate and exhibit their work.

Our newest exhibit shows the many talents of some of our members. Classes are continually being added to our calendar. We have also had some amazing donations. We want you to come, watch us grow and celebrate the season with us.

Take care of yourselves and others,
Victoria McConnell
President
