Windy is a self-taught left-handed fiber artist and sewer. She also teaches left and right handed knitting as well as how to read and understand patterns. The name Kaire’je (Kaire-jay) is Lithuanian and is from her husband’s ancestry which means left hand.

Her yarn studio is located in Taylors Island, Md, near Cambridge, Md, and features Windy’s fiber art creations as well as a variety of high-end yarns, knitting needles and patterns & kits.
