Lisa began her journey in the arts during her childhood through painting, sewing, and woodworking.  She got her degree in Art Education at Frostburg State College, studied at the Maryland Institute College of Art, and received a Masters in Education degree from Salisbury University.  As an Art Educator in Caroline County, Lisa has provided instruction to children and adults, beginners to advanced, since 1977.

Now retired, Lisa takes time to paint, sew, quilt, travel, garden, and volunteer. Her artwork has been on display at the Foundry in Denton, FACES, Local Color at the Tidewater Inn, Plein Air Painters of the Eastern Shore, Adkins Arboretum juried show and others.
