Lou Diefenderfer began quilting in 1999 because she wanted to make her daughter a quilt for graduation.  Since then, Lou has taken many classes with local guilds and at local quilt shops.  Her quilts are displayed annually at local quilt shows.

Lou is a member of four local quilt guilds and now teaches quilting classes to others.  Lou also shares her quilting skills with children through 4-H Clubs in the area.  She especially enjoys teaching the children because they are so eager to learn.
