The Piecemaker’s Quilt Guild was established in September 1992. A notice on the Milford Public Library bulletin board brought together people for the first meeting of the Guild at the old Senior Center in Milford, Delaware.
The goals of the Guild is to bring together persons interested in quilts and quilt making. In keeping the educational aspect of a guild, we offer demonstrations, guest lectures, trunk shows, workshops, and hands-on-activities to help expand our members’ quilting skills, we also offer activities involving various techniques at a variety of levels, so all quilters will find something of interest.
Since its inception our Guild has raised monies through quilt raffles to support Milford Public Library and Milford Parks and Recreation Youth programs. Members make quilts for local charities and hospitals.
