Michelle Follett’s Textile Teachings, LLC
Michelle Follett is a teacher of textile arts. After finishing a career that included instructional
design for a software development company, Michelle pursued building her knowledge in
textile weaving in order to become a textile arts teacher. Michelle holds a Bachelor’s of
Science in Education from Illinois Benedictine University, and is a Master Weaver candidate at
Olds College in Alberta, Canada. Michelle offers private lessons with equipment and supplies
included (limitations apply) and leads workshops in weaving at various locations through the
Delmarva region. Michelle is a proponent of learning by seeing, doing and teaching, and looks
forward to sharing her enthusiasm of learning with you!

Using a ready-to-weave tiny tapestry loom, participants will learn essential concepts to
tapestry weaving while creating a one-of-a-kind tapestry piece. Course will cover basic
weaving terminology and concepts, and is designed for the beginner.
