About the Class

Beginner/Adult

Learn the basics about fabric, cutting, measuring, and using quilting tools. Attendees will make quilt blocks and turn them into a table runner/small quilt while learning how to quilt and bind your work. A separate day will be decided at class for a road trip to area quilt shops. Special guests will attend to share their expertise for quilting success. It is recommended that you bring your own sewing machine but other basic tools and materials will be on hand for student to test run.

Class Fee $85/member; $100/non-member

About Donna

Donna Hayes has been sewing since childhood. Over the years she has taught people of all ages to enjoy the craft of sewing. She started quilting 15 years ago and has become an advocate for advancing the art of quilts on the Eastern Shore. In addition, she is a member of several quilting guilds and a major force at FACES.  She loves to teach people of all ages especially children who are the future advocates of the art.
