This quilt was found in footlocker of the family home of my husband. The Longfellows and Clarks owned a general store on Main St., Greensboro, Maryland and lived in the same house. The husband’s father’s wife died during his childhood so he moved into the family home with 2 sisters (spinsters), so the quilt has been in the family for at least 2 generations.
